Description
AROMA & FLAVOR NOTES: Raisins, floral aroma, chocolate, and a hint of cherry
ORIGIN | FARMER | PRODUCER: Klasik Beans – West Java
The name ‘Aromanis’ is taken from one of the sweetest mango fruit varieties found in West Java. Whereas ‘Sunda’ or people of Sunda is the ethnic group native to the western part of the island of Java in Indonesia. From the very beginning, Aromanis is processed with a method that aims to conserve the limited water availability at its shelter location. This is the principle that Klasik Beans (the producer & processor) holds in every post-harvest process in almost all the highlands of coffee production in Indonesia. They believe that the complexity of post-harvest processing should always be based on a deep understanding and observation of the environment. Aromanis is proof that by being in harmony with the environment, a unique taste/character of coffee can be created.
